The son of the late Vaughn Bode, creator of the iconic Cheech Wizard comics, Mark carries-on his father's beloved characters as well as interprets classic tattoo motifs and imagery, including dragons, angels, demons, lions, butterflies and more in his own signature style, drawing inspiration from the wider worlds of comic art, graffiti, and traditional tattooing.

Mark Bode’s work has been exhibited internationally and featured in the New York Times, Heavy Metal magazine, Penthouse, The San Francisco Chronicle, While You Were Sleeping, and Juxtapoz. His publications include Miami Mice, Cobalt 60, Lizard of OZ, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles,Gwar Comics, and Gyro.
