Hori Benny is an ex-patriot who moved to Japan to immerse himself in a full tattoo apprenticeship studying under a Japanese master. Before his 2007 world debut of his artwork, Hori Benny completed hundreds of hand painted tattoo flash sheets as a part of his training for his Japanese tattoo apprenticeship. In under 1 year, Hori Benny produced over 250 sheets of flash. Within this beautiful hardcover book are many of those sheets, in part and in whole, collected from the first leg of his apprenticeship.
The flash sheets within are primarily Japanese influenced, but there is a mixture of Western and Eastern styles and genres.
